Coordinator of Travel Experiences (Olympics & Paralympics Dept.) at On Location Experiences

“The USA Basketball Torch Program was the opportunity that changed everything for me. I was selected in the inaugural cohort during my senior year at Bethune-Cookman University, and it was the first time that I was able to gain experience with a professional sports organization. During my time in Torch, I was able to grow a tight connection with the other 7 members in my cohort, and we all still communicate and support each other heavily over 3 years later!”

“Torch showed me how to truly seize the moments and opportunities right in front of me by connecting us with real-life professionals in the industry. It also taught me the importance of strategically placing myself in the right rooms and advocating for a seat at the table not just based on my experience, but also on the natural skills I bring. That combination helped me grow my network in a more intentional and impactful way leading me to different places.”

“Torch opened so many doors for who I could connect with and who could inspire me to constantly be greater than I was, and also find my passion and my “why” for wanting to work in this industry. Torch helped connect me with so many like minded professionals, and I have become so much more confident in my networking skills and really making the most of every room that I get the opportunity to be in.”
