At the USA Basketball Foundation, we’re growing the game so every community can benefit from the sport. A core part of our mission is to empower women on the court and in the world. One way we do that is to inspire women to work in the sports industry and provide professional networking and development opportunities.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The Women in the Game Conference is an incredible opportunity for women looking to grow their confidence, leadership skills, and professionalism in the sports industry. You’ll hear from female executives and guest speakers on a range of exciting topics that will help you level up your game. Networking, mentoring, and socializing are all part of the fun, so come ready to learn, connect, and get inspired!

SCHOLARSHIP QUALIFICATIONS

  • Female, 18 or older who is interested in pursuing or furthering a career in sport
  • Resume
  • Cover Letter
  • Letter of recommendation
  • Must work with USA Basketball Foundation regarding expenses and travel
  • Those granted the scholarship are responsible for coordinating and booking all logistics, and then submitting receipts for the above categories for review and reimbursement post-event unless otherwise coordinated
  • Selected recipients will have a roommate while attending the conference
  • Selected recipients will be required to complete USA Basketball Safe Sport/Compliance training and background screening
  • Selected recipients will be required to participate on an informational zoom prior to event
  • Selected recipients will be required to submit a headshot
